Sometimes I like to remind myself just how much Megatron ABSOLUTELY. DWARFS. EVERYONE.

A lot of the scenes in the show are shot so as to make up for the height differences, and sometimes it’s just easy to forget the relative comparison with characters that don’t often interact.

For example, I was surprised that the vehicons are so tiny, since a lot of their fights were with Arcee, Bumblebee and Bulkhead, and their regular noncombat interactions are with Starscream.

Knockouts overall bulk makes him seem larger than he actually is, and when you put him next to Airachnid he almost appears regular height, despite being one of the smaller mechs in the show.

Dreadwing probably comes closest to being on Megatron’s eye level, but if I recall correctly, he’s still a little bit smaller. The fact Megatron doesn’t have to bend down to talk to him, like he usually does, however probably adds to why he appears to be much more respectable when compared to the rest of the officers, who easily cover before their commander, and I can’t say I blame them. 

ok some of you have noticed how much i love overanalysing things and especially this series

and yeah yes to that and everything, i just love megatron’s design overall, he looks legit menacing and powerful even when not doing anything

also that voice omg he has a rly specific awesome voice in tfp
